Launching Until the Sun Goes Down. (9/3/1998)

On only two days notice, MASA members turned out in droves for this Thursday evening launch.  The total stats for the night were:  56 rockets launched with 59 rocket motors burned.  There were many impressive launches with only a few problems.   This launch was also the first test for the new MASA launch procedures.  They worked well and made for a safer, yet fast moving launch.

The motor breakdown for the evening was: A: 6, B: 17, C: 10, D: 10, E: 1, F: 4, G: 10, H: 1

Ted Cochran had the 2nd to last launch of the evening with his LOC IV on an H128.   Marty Johnston boosted his electronics-laden rocket for the last launch.

Unfortunately, the long summer days in Minnesota are rapidly disappearing, likely making this the last Thursday night launch of the year.
